Club History
The Plat 5 Snowmobile Club is a nonprofit established in 1968 to support the sport of Snowmobiling and its volunteer supported trail network. Based in both Waukesha and Washington counties, with trails in Richfield, Colgate, Hubertus, Plat 5 and Lisbon. Our first groomer was a Cushman Trackster.
Responsibilities of the Club
We must get landowners’ approval for the snowmobile trails to go through property. To prepare for the season, we install trail signs and maintain trail pathways. Once it snows, we groom the snowmobile trails to help improve the quality and safety of the trails. After the season ends, we remove the trails.
